Art is the way we're living. It's the way I've lived since I was able to use my hands to create something from nothing. The beauty in art, in life, is you are able to create something from nothing. Whether that is with paper, digital or with your own life choice. We're the curators of our own lives.
The creators, gates between worlds. This series is essentially the same woman figure underneath with different hair, skin tones, and ethnicity. It's the essence of who we are underneath- skin, hair, and color, we are simply human. We give color to our life through our perspective and experience we've collected like seashells down by the shore. We color our reality, fantasy, and tragedy. I wanted this series to capture who each one of these women shows up as with vibrant colors. Each color garners a different feeling, another story, and a song of their life.
